APM 03/21 Neighbourhood Policing Report

PC Glenn Palmer reported that it has been quite quiet, busy on the roads and is starting to get busier coming into the summer season and will be busier than the summer of 2020. Speeding issues in the village were high-lighted especially through Saltfleet along Main Rd and Warren Rd. The most reported speed complaints to the Police are along the B1200 Main Road in Saltfleetby. Speed checks are carried out but not on a regular basis, patrols in the area continue where and when possible. Vandalism and un-authorised access onto the foreshore at the Haven were raised. PC Glenn Palmer advised that the Police have been in attendance on occasions. A question was asked if any vehicles had been confiscated from driving on the beach, PC Palmer confirmed to his knowledge, no vehicles had been confiscated. The stolen picnic tables from the playing field that happened at the weekend was noted.

APM 04/21 District & County Councillors Report

District/County Cllr Mr McNally had no specific APM report to make. After recent County Councillor Elections, Cllr Mr McNally has been re-elected to represent the Saltfleet and Cotes Ward for the next four year term and gave thanks for the support received.

The Parish Council assisted a homeless person that was camping on the playing field and liaised with the appropriate authorities.
