APM 05/22   Chairman’s Annual Report 2019 to 2021

The Parish Council have resolved to keep the Parish Precept the same for the forthcoming year (£7,750). Devastating news Parish Councillor Mrs Wendy Barker – It was with the greatest sadness that we had the loss of Wendy. May she RIP. She was a major part of Skidbrooke and Saltfleet. Her dedication to the Community was huge. Wendy was always there to help out, was involved in the Gala, the Methodist Church events and many other activities. As a Parish Councillor, Wendy always voiced her opinion and stood up for the Parish. She will not be forgotten. The Parish Council will be arranging engraved picnic benches for the playing fields in honour of Wendy. The Play Equipment has had an annual inspection by Play Days. The Zip Wire cable has been replaced, the Infant Swings re-enforced, and many remedial works carried out. The Committee for the Playing Fields is still going, with a few members. Huge gratitude is given to the members for the hard work and continued support which they give. Their dedication to the Playing Field and the Parish is greatly appreciated. The Toilet provision has been delivered and will remain until September 2022. Fencing Completed to surround the carpark of the Playing Fields, Gates Moved. Obstruction to Footpath – The Hill Round through Tuxworths to Sea Lane had seen a partial diversion. LCC had served a notice and the fences were removed. Saltfleet Pumping Station Upgrade.
