Skidbrooke cum Saltfleet Haven Parish Council

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and Members are summoned to attend a meeting of Skidbrooke cum Saltfleet Haven Parish to be held at Social Centre, Sea Lane, Saltfleet on Monday 13 May 2024 at 7.00 p.m.

Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a public forum for a maximum of 15 minutes when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council (maximum 3 minutes per person/subject) in respect of any item listed on the agenda.

A maximum further 15 minutes will be set aside for the meeting to receive reports of the elected member of Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council (oral, tabled and as attached).

Signing of Acceptance of Office: To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.

Chairmans Welcome: invite member of public ask questions or make short statements to the Council

Apologies for Absence: To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.

To approve as correct records the notes of the meeting of the Council held on 4 March 2024 and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.

To receive updates from in respect of:

  1. Consideration of portable toilet for summer season, location to be discussed.
  2. Wood fencing around play area, gaps being utilised by young children to pass through with possibility of nails being left in wood rail. 
  3. One loose wood panel on roof of play structure. 
  4. Update on radar speed indicator signs.
  5. Update rules issued to owners or relatives of deceased for burial plots on what can be placed on plots in respect of plants or objects in addition to approved grave markers.

Bank Account and online banking: To receive an update from the Parish Clerk in respect of the recent changes to the Parish Councils bank accounts, bank mandate and online access.

Correspondence: To receive and dispose of correspondence received since the last meeting.
