Project update - June 2026

Thank you for your continued interest in Grimsby to Walpole. Here's a short update on what we've been doing.

Over the past few months, we have:

• submitted our Town and Country Planning Act application for Weston Marsh Substation A, with a decision likely to be made later this year;
• progressed the Grimsby to Walpole Community Fund, which will ensure lasting benefits for the people and places that host new energy infrastructure. We look forward to sharing more details when they become available;
• continued to review all feedback received to date, to help inform design development; and
• carried out environmental, heritage, and technical assessments.
