SKIDBROOKE WITH SALTFLEET HAVEN PARISH COUNCIL

 

Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council held on Monday 9th May 2022

which commenced at 6:36pm in the Social Centre, Sea Lane, Saltfleet

                      Members of Public        There were 9 Members of Public in Attendance

       

AGM 01-05/22 Vice-Chairman’s Welcome

The Chairman opened the meeting and welcomed both Councillors and members of the public to the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

 

AGM 02-05/22 Apologies & Acceptance for Absence

District Cllr Mr Paul Rickett.

The Chairman, Cllr Mr Bignell then stepped down.

 

AGM 03-05/22 Election of Chairman of the Parish Council

Cllr Mr Williams nominated Cllr Mr Bignell be Chairman. It was then proposed by Cllr Mr Mace, this was seconded by Cllr Mrs Warsap and resolved that Cllr Mr Bignell be elected as Chairman to the Parish Council. Cllr Mr Bignell agreed to serve as Chairman. The newly elected Chairman Mr Bignell then took the Chair.

 

AGM 04-05/22 Election of Vice Chairman of the Parish Council

It was proposed by Cllr Mr Benton that Cllr Mr Mace be elected as Vice-Chairman, it was seconded by Cllr Mrs Warsap and resolved that Cllr Mr Mace be elected as Vice-Chairman to the Parish Council. Cllr Mr Mace agreed to serve as Vice-Chairman.

 

AGM 05-05/22 Councillors Responsibilities

Parish Paths Co-ordinator - Cllr Mr Bignell will continue responsibility.

Responsible Financial Officer – TBC (New Parish Clerk)

Police Liaison – Cllr Mr Mace that there has not been much contact and the position TBC.

Health & Safety Officer – Cllr Mr Mace agreed to continue responsibility.

Natural England/LWT –  Allocated when needed, no meetings held or currently planned.

Graveyard Inspection – Parish Clerk.

Footpaths & Seats/Benches – Mr C Higgins agreed to continue responsibility on behalf of the Parish Council.

Saltfleet Sports & Social Field Committee – Re-Established May 2021. K.Warsap/I.Dickinson

 

AGM 06-05/22 Review of Parish Council Rules & Regulations

The Parish Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations will be circulated by email.

 

AGM 07-05/22 Review of Parish Council Assets

No amendments to the Asset List had been needed since the last AGM.

 

AGM 08-05/22 Any Other Matters to Report

None.

 

AGM 09-05/22 Close of the AGM

The next AGM will be held in May 2023. There being no further business for the Annual General Meeting, the meeting closed at 6:40pm.
